About Us
Helen Tang is the principal and head tutor of SAGE + SMART LEARNING. She is a professional tutor and an accredited translator. Proficient in English and Cantonese/Mandarin, she has taught hundreds of students from elementary to university, including students with special needs; and interpreted for adults from all walks of life; both in the public and private sectors.
She founded SAGE + SMART LEARNING to deliver bilingual teaching and training programs for students and individuals who want to realize their academic and language potential in class, at work, or at home. Her credentials include those conferred by Hong Kong and Canadian universities, education diploma, teaching and translation certificates, as well as an accreditation in interpretation from the government of Canada.
She enjoys seeing students make phenomenal progress in mastering the subjects they study, and is thrilled to inspire learners to glide effortlessly between English and Chinese, using language as a medium to explore what is best and beautiful in both cultures.
