OVERVIEW
Designed for the elementary to post-secondary student in Canada who wants to become an 'A' student on regular, IB, AP, college or university programs. This course provides extra explanation on school subject content, guidance on homework completion, preparation for tests and examinations; and get the student ready for external exams such as OSSLT, IELTS, SSAT, ACT, SAT, other English tests, exams or presentations.

- Grades 1-8, $45 per one-hour session, minimum 4-session purchase ($180)
- Grades 9-12, $60 per one-hour session, minimum 4-session purchase ($240)
- Post-secondary, $80 per one-hour session, minimum 4-session purchase ($320)

COURSE LENGTH
Students typically book an online/in-person session 1 - 2 times a week, 1 hour or more.
PREREQUISITES
For Chinese speakers, no knowledge of English necessary. We will teach bilingually in English/Chinese. We recommend students with no prior knowledge of English to simultaneously take our Transition Year Program to brush up on their English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
COURSE MATERIALS
Apart from reading material from the student's school, we will select information from other sources suited to the student's level and assign reading or writing practices to develop the student's potential.
MY APPROACH
The focus in this course is to enhance the student's ability to master academic courses. During the first free consultation and assessment meeting, we will come up with a study plan and start teaching the next lesson onward. There will be additional exercises on grammar, pronunciation, comprehension and vocabulary. We work closely with parents and school to ensure that the student is progressing comfortably, yet rapidly.
