OVERVIEW
Designed for international students who are already in Canada or will shortly come to Canada to study, with a view of going to university.

COURSE LENGTH
1 to 2 times a week, 1 hour or more.
International students typically take this course simultaneously with our STRAIGHT A PROGRAM and follow through with it through one school year. Students who will shortly arrive in Canada are advised to take this course prior to arrival to prepare for academic learning and university education in Canada.
PREREQUISITES
For Chinese speakers, no knowledge of English necessary. We will teach bilingually in English/Chinese.
COURSE MATERIALS
We will select readings and exercises suited to the student's level and assign them to the student for education and training purposes.
MY APPROACH
This course focuses on teaching the student English language and sharing topics on cultural interests, so they could thrive on living and studying in Canada. During the first free consultation and assessment meeting, we will design a study plan and start teaching the second lesson onwards. There will be review and practices on a variety of topics taught in academic settings.
